One Guided Hive Inspection – Families will observe the bees up close and see inside a working hive (weather and bee behavior permitting).
Honey Bee Life Cycle – Learn how bees grow from egg to adult and the roles they play in the hive.
Honey Bee Anatomy – Discover the parts of a honey bee and how each one helps them do their job.
Beeswax Craft – Melt beeswax and create a simple, take-home craft together
What to Bring
Water bottle
Long socks and closed toed shoes on inspection day
Suits and veils will be provided.
Allergy medication/EpiPen (if you have bee allergies; please inform your teacher)
