What to Expect
• Learn tool skills like measuring, cutting, drilling, and sanding
• Grow confidence by working independently and safely
• Strengthen fine-motor skills through hands-on craftsmanship
• Practice problem-solving and perseverance
• Express creativity with their own design choices
• Learn teamwork and responsibility in the shop
Projects will be determined in class.
What to Bring
• Water bottle — stay hydrated!
• Closed-toed shoes (required for safety)
• Clothing appropriate for outdoor temperatures and light dust
• Long hair tied back
• Avoid loose clothing or dangling jewelry
• Safety eyewear, ear protection, gloves, and masks are all provided
• Any needed medications — and please notify us of allergies
