What to Expect
Throughout the course, students will:
Learn how plants grow and what they need to thrive
Practice planting seeds, watering, and caring for garden beds
Explore soil, composting, and the role of insects and pollinators
Observe seasonal changes and learn patience and responsibility
Enjoy hands-on activities, nature exploration, and simple garden projects
This is a fully hands-on, outdoor-focused class, so students should come dressed for the weather and ready to get dirty. Closed-toe shoes are required, and clothes should be comfortable and okay to get muddy.
